Mayor Jake Windham is excited to announce that the Pearl Day Concert will still take place in 2020 and has been rescheduled for Friday, October 30. The original date was May 1, but due to the COVID-19 precautions, the city chose to move the date rather than cancel the event.
“It was very important to us to have this event take place this year,” said Mayor Windham. “We worked closely with Jamey Johnson, Frank Foster and Zach Bridges to find a date that would fit into all of their schedules. This really gives our folks something to look forward to as we work through this COVID-19 pandemic.”
Tickets are all $25 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
The concert will take place in the north lot of Trustmark Park starting at 5:30 p.m. The 2019 Pearl Day Concert featuring Lauren Daigle drew more than 10,000 people.
The City of Pearl will be celebrating its forty-seventh birthday after being established in 1973.
