Gus Black elected as District Exchange Club officer

Gus Black, the 2018/19 Club President for the Exchange Club of Richland, was recently chosen as president-elect for the Mississippi District Exchange Club. Black has been active in the Richland club for many years and has served as president and event chairmen on many events.

Black will serve as President of the District for the 2020/21 year. The Mississippi District Exchange Club is made up of 34 clubs and 600+ members in communities across the state. 

Established in March 1911, The National Exchange Club has more than 18,000 members and more than 630 local-level Exchange Clubs throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

The organization’s vision, “A strong America, safe communities and unified people,” and mission statement, “Inspiring communities to become better places to live,” are carried out through its programs of service, which include Americanism, youth programs and community service, with their national project being the prevention of child abuse.
